Very nice carbine, Quality hardware mfg., Underwood barrel dated 11 - 43, passes "bullet"test with flying colors, great rifling, Stock still has re-arsenal date stamps as well as other markings visible. Rotary safety, adjustable rear sight....Will sell as package deal with all you see in pics for $800 shipped in cont US to FFL or C&R. Includes carbine, repro. soft case, excellent condition bayo and scabbard, 3 ex. cond mag pouches,and 5 ex. cond. 20 round mags( still looking for my sixth one i am missing,is around here somewhere) May seperate stuff depending on what interest i see . First, nice looking carbine!

Second, on your digital camera, there will be a "macro" setting. Normally the button has a flower on it. Hit that button for taking the up close pictures and it will focus on things just a couple inches away or out to 18" or so.

Like Rifleman says, that's a fair price for that good looking carbine. I already have one that is not quite as nice, but my collection is essentially one of each type (Garand, Carbine, Springfield, Krag, ...etc) so I will pass. However, if you don't have at least one and are looking for a carbine, this a good place to start at a fair price. Consider the deal with the accessories too. You know that you will want them later.

Yeah, it's a great deal on a good looking gun.

My friend has a M1 carbine that he bought a while ago. It's a fun gun to shoot. All the accessories like the mag. pouches, soft cover, and bayonet that thedave8 included is just icing on the cake.

Of course, I've got to get my butt into gear and get all the paper work done or it's going to someone else later on.
