Pebble Beach car show 2008

just got back from the concorse de elegance at the Pebble beach golf resort in Monteray, Cali.
We entered a 1935 Rolls Royce Phantom 2 and got second place in our class - pre-war European touring cars, heres a few pics.
The car I liked the most was one of Jay Leno's, a Chrysler with a Patton tank engine!
All the transporter trucks were parked up on the polo fields above the main lodge, this is where I hung all week until the main show on sunday, so I took a few pics. to show the behind the scenes action.
Check out the GM 'Futurama' cars - built in the 50's and 60's.

Sweet. I've been out to Monterey and Pebble beach a few times. I just took my girlfriend their last year, what a great place (to visit).

Yes, that is Jay's car, he was an MC at the show, he does it every year - he has an awesome collection of bikes and cars.
During the award ceromony he drove though the cars lined up to drive on stage to get thier trophies and lit it up over the staging area!
He went around all the cars and chatted to everyone - great guy.
