5 round cetme mags

i found this place that sells very good condition 5 round mags for pretty cheap, and they don't gouge on the shipping like other places i checked on.

Guys, save some money and make your own from a 20 rd mag that you can by for $1-$2. You just need to put in a block of wood, nylon, aluminum, etc. that limits the capacity to 5. Really freaks out the game wardens! If you have a little time, a Dremel with cutting wheels, and a pair of pliers, you can make a "shorty" from a 20 rd mag. I bought a bunch from Tapco years ago that had some damage and converted the really bad ones into 5 and 10 round mags. Very easy to do and doesn't take a lot of time.

The 5 rounder I bought only works if 4 rounds are in it.

I doubt I could cut straight lines in a box full of mags.:icon_biggrin:

I've never seen a game warden in the desert. I must be shooting in the wrong places.

maybe, but I for one don't want to risk it especially around where i live.

mine only works right with 4 loaded as well. I load 4, chamber 1 and then pop it out and load another if I am limited to 5... as in when Im shooting 5-shot groups or something... I only like to use mine if Im shooting off some low sandbags or somhing. Theres not any kind of round limi for hunting in TX except dove, so I dont have to worry about game wardens.

Similar down here in Georgia. Only law that limits capacity is for shotguns. It limits them to 3 for small game, and 5 for big game. I have been checked by a gamewarder several times while hunting with my FAL with a 20rounder in it. They look at it funny.... but nothing else!
