Vicodin?

Wuss......

Just kidding, I had all of mine out at once, and they had to cut one out that came in sideways.

Took a couple of days off work for it.

I remember another "wisdom tooth" story though.....

When I was in basic, we were out in the field on an exercise and our XO went back to base one morning. He returned that same afternoon after having all of his wisdom teeth removed, and never even slowed down.

This guy was HARD CORE, or just liked pain a whole lot.

I had to have part of my jaw cut out with mine, they only grew part way and then fused. I took the pills for the first day and none after that. I wasn't allowed to drive or use machinery with whatever they gave me and I needed to work.

I've only had to have one of mine removed. I can't say that IV sedation was fun, i was out too fast to tell if it was fun or not. I DID find out that i'm a total prick when i come out of anastesia (sp?)! I called the dentist the next day to apologize to the nurses that tried to help me to the vehicle after the surgery.

I got Hydrocodone after mine, took it for a few days and then stopped. Day one of taking them: Took pill at 8:00 AM, took off of work at about 9:00 AM cause i was getting too loaded to work.

Hope you heal up fast!

You still got 2/5 of your wisdom..... left...

I agree IV sedation is great, all 4 wisdom teeth out in an hour, two were impacted and had to be broken to get them out.... did not feel anything until my sockets dried out.... and that hurt like hell....

Best of all the doc gave me a little baggie with the extra parts.... never know when I might need that wisdom I had pulled.... Freaked the wife out when she found them and asked what they were.... I told her spare parts... she did not think it was too funny...

dont humans only have 4 wisdom teeth?

I have three broken ones {all the other teeth in my mouth are fine, go figure?} and one thats under the surface.

I broke one sneezing.

Im also 100% imune to pain killers. No joke, it sucks.

Well I got 4 pulled awhile back and my mom was cheap; opting for the local, not general anesthesia. I was awake for every little part of it, some feeling and all. To top it off, vicodin doesn't work on me and I was forced to go to school the next day. You have to love the short Asian moms.
