What do James, The Gun Parts Guy, and a FalFiles forum member, G2 (aka Guy), and my love of FN FALs and money have in common? Another beautiful FAL arises and is rescued from the parts bins! I bought this kit from James earlier this year with thoughts of an easy build using an Imbel receiver from my Century Sporter turned L1A1. Instead, I was wandering around a gun show and found a Century R1 receiver that had never been put on a gun.

I was at my local gun shop and was told by one of the salesmen that they had a new smith who liked working with FALS. Up until then I had never heard of Guy, but had read posts from G2. I had no idea he lived near me - but sure am now! Without further review:

I think G2 did one fantastic job; what do you think?

I tryed to put that same FH on my L1A1, and it wont fit, but the U.S made G3 FH fits and looks good.

Two hours ago my phone rang - to tell me that FAL #2 was at the gun shop for pick-up...Damn, Guy the Builder is good! Here it is; built on an Imbel lower and type III Imbel receiver. DS Arms 21" Bull Barrel, Magpul Sniper Stock, aluminum forestock, Mueller 4x16-50 scope, Harris 6-9" bipod. Sighting in and range report tomorrow for both FALS. What do you think?

VERY sleek!
gotta give us a range report ASAP! i've been curious on how the tilt block would do if you accurized the barrel assembly!
