I think the state of Louisanna used to be like NewYork, with the New Orleans dominateing the politics of the state some what, but with the huge population drain there it may not be the huge factor that the Nagin is counting on.

What bother's me is the media always list spurious negatives associated with owning a weapon, like it might be stolen and used in another crime. Duh! It's likely to not be stolen and used to stop the theft also.


Also, I was watching "outrageuos videos" or some such the other day and they had a segment about a guy in CA who had a Tec-9 pistol. At the very beginning of the segment they called it a "semi-automatic assualt machine gun". What the hell is that? throughout the segment they kept showing this guy shooting full auto at everything that moved. He must have burned up 600 rounds. The reason he wouldn't stop for the police was because he was too busy reloading all the time to notice them.

Man, this on top of the articel about the 'broken US army' pissed me rigtht off. I couldn't even post abt that other article, i was freakin furious! It was slanted, contained inaccuracies sensationaislms, historcal military falsities (Like air superiority outmodes Infantry...every fool knows Infantry has been the core of organized war for what, 5-7 THOUSAND years? Armor cav, cavalry, air force, etc...they are used in SUPPORT of infantry.)
