I saw a POF parts kit for sale. Well, I didn't know that POF put together parts kits. So, what would one of these kits be worth?

POF as in Pakistan ordnance factory or Patriot? Paki kits have been going for $400-$600 lately depending on condition. I "think" Patriot ordnace factory sold some of these (paki kits) awhile back. Other than manufacturer, I'm not sure what the difference is between those and the FMP kits. I sure wish someone would bring in some more G3 or CETME kits even with cut barrels.

Patriot Ordanance Factory used to have G3 kits for sale. They decided to go the AR15 route. I have one of their kits and it is mostly US made parts made by them. I have a dvd showing how they made them. Mine was made in 2003.

Well, I don't know who made the kit other than he said POF. I'll get in touch with him on it.

Anyways, he is asking $325 for the kit and it has an uncut barrel. I would assume that would be a pretty good price for one of these kits, yes?

Pakistan Ordnance Factory makes G3's for the Pakistani military, and thus they make the kits you buy.

Patriot Ordnance Factory is an American company just imports and sells G3 stuff, they don't actually make rifles or kits.

What would be the asking price for an HK factory demilled G3 kit with a new match grade replacement barrel machined to G3 specs?

Dirty Eight,

Good to hear from you. as to your question.....Unfortunately one needs to consider the economic down turn we are currently in (In truth the economy is cyclical) considerations on pricing schould be considered as to the fast Fifty and/or the slow Hundred, having a quality product with limited and/or finite source should be able to receive a premium......but would a manufacture and/or distributer consider that having the core product priced aggressively would facilitate selling the accoutrement's that accompany the core product. This would facilitating more sales of all products allowing said company to weather the economic down turn with sustained growth.

That being all said lets hope that it is priced within most of our budgets and allow us to add that rail and/or glass that we would love to have with our weapons.
