OK here's the setrep having extraction problems :help: breaking in the new ptr 91 after 4-5 mags let it set a few minuets then chamber a new mag the first 3 to 4 rounds will not extract it is like there stuck in the chamber . now i am using s.a. ammo which i am not pleased with ( gonna sell the ammo ) but after a double extract the 3-4 rounds ( after the chamber warms up ) it works flawlessly wtf?? is my chamber undersized i am about ready to take a stainless steel brush and ream the s.o.b. out a few thousandths to remedy this .. anyone ever run into this what can be done .. halllllllp

South African is excellent surplus ammo.
It almost sounds to me like your flutes are dirty. Remember that a cetme/hk has a fluted chamber that floats the cartridge out of the chamber. I wonder if they were cut too shallow, because on a clean new rifle it should work.

flutes are fine ... but like i said
after 4-5 mags let it set a few minuets then chamber a new mag the first 3 to 4 rounds will not extract it is like there stuck in the chamber
after it cools down after 4 to 5 mags . fire 4-5 rounds after that ( getting them out ) it works fine again

It sounds like another issue we had with an AR...in our case it was just a very tight chamber. (Someone refered to it as a "Match" chamber.)

I don't think a stainless steel brush will do anything to your chamber, stainless unto it self is too soft, unless you try some abrasive with the brush to cut the steel. That said maybe the flutes are a little rough and need some of the edges that are holding the caseings in the chamber. Maybe check the extracted cases to see if there are sharp edges on the brass.
I only could think of one thing to try, but it might not work(but maybe if they worked), but when they worked up the orginal rifle, they tried oiled cartrages, not sure if trying oil would help, like you think that as the barrel heats up it may be expanding slightly and letting the extraction to happen.

Easy fix.... dont let it sit a few minutes... Will PTR stand behind their barrel? If so, send it back to them and have them replace it.
It either sounds like your flutes are dirty, and/or the chamber is a little tighter than normal... since the PTR is supposed to be a target rifle, perhaps its a tighter chamber. But if the flutes are working properly, it shouldnt matter how tight the chamber is... Gas should still get into the flutes and float out the case even if it is tight.
I bet you wont have a problem moving that SA if its a decent price though.

If it's new, make JLD fix it.

SA is all I've shot in my JLD PTR91, not a single hiccup.
It looks like JLD is now PTR 91 inc. http://www.ptr91.com/
