Changes in the PTR

Does anyone know how the PTR 91 changed/ improved over time? The only thing I notice is that the new ones have a polymer lower. However, I have heard that various updates were done over time. Anyone heard about this?

I seem to remember that the chamber flutes were changed as well

I seem to remember there was an issue with "soft trunnions" a few years ago, but I don't remember if it was with their production rifles or with the bare receiver with their trunnion installed.
I also noticed that they don't sell bare receivers with their trunnion installed anymore.

Well, I think the number of used foreign parts is decreasing and the number of new US parts is going up.

The combos of goodies have changed - from 'ban era' models with bare muzzles to the new 'tactical' furniture. And, of course, the name JLD has been dropped and is no longer stamped on the receivers.
