I guess you could say that I had a day to remember. Several weeks ago
I loaded up some hand loads for the CETME and some identical rounds
to shoot through an Isreali 7.62 rebarreled Mauser, I was trying to get a
load worked up that would be reasonably accurate in both rifles using
the exact same load. I put up my targets and started out with the Mauser,
then got the CETME out and forgot a dag gone mag, can you imagine the
horror, loading them one at a time with no mag. During this time, two guys
showed up to shoot their Nagants, they really like the CETME and we had
a BS session and when they decided to leave, I thought I'll just stay a
while longer and shoot the .45 acp. I get done, load up the van, jump in
and the dag gone thing wont start, stranded in BFE and not a round to
use to put it out of it's misery. On the plus side I found a load that was
real good shooting in one rifle and 1/2 grain heavier was real good in the
other rifle, they were close enough in their span that I will be able to load
one round for both rifles, now back to the reloader for a couple of weeks
to stock up on reloads.
