anyone scope thier SKS

i'm looking for a good scope mount for an SKS, yes, i know its an SKS, i'm just looking to mount an EOTech on it (my gf bought me one for christmas... dont ask how i know, i just do) and i dont have my AR finished (or really started besides buying the reciever) and was wondering if anyone knew if there was a good mount that wasnt a total P.O.S. (the review of the ones on cheaper than dirt all suck)

i long ago got out of the SKS game, but i bought a rec cover that had weaver rails on it.... if i remember it only cost me like 35 bucks, but that was in the mid 90's..... try TAPCO or APEX... those are the only two i caan think of right now that might have what you want....

There are plenty of scope mounts for SKS on the market. The ones that work without a glitch, are the scout mounts that replace the gas tube (I don't like them because of the appearance).

Receiver cover mounts work only if they have extra set screws on the side. Either way, they loose zero when cleaning. One must invest in laser boresighter (saves a lot of bullets, and aggravation).

I think that a red dot in a scout cope mount would be the ticket! Either reflex or tube type (especially the 42mm Tasco) would be just the ticket.
