My grandfather brought a K98 Mauser back from his time in the AoO in Germany. It has since been sporterized but looking it over has many different symbols.
The barrel has the full (not peened) Nazi Eagle with Swastika.
The receiver has a winged bird over the letter N and the number 159, which matches the trigger group.
The bolt has no markings save the numbers, all of with match (safety, bolt and firing mechanism) and do not match the 159, they are in the 34XX range.
Any information about any of these markings is appreciated.
