I'm down on the east side of Houston, and it's just nasty drizzlin' rain . . . .

38 degrees by the porch thermometer.

Wish we could have snow, too.

Get in your truck and have some fun with it! April snow in Texas, global warming my ass. 3" to 5" of snow is perfect to go play in, but were used to it.

That brings back memories, we usually don't get much snow here. We had some nice flurries yesterday though, but it didn't stick. :(

We got a call from friends in Ft. Worth (where ever that is) and they said it was near blizzard conditions.

Oh well....live in Texas and you get what Texans have got coming. LOL:fing02:

It sleeted all afternoon and evening here... Enough that it collected and covered my truck... but melted as soon as I took off driving.

Some nasty weather for sure... If you dont like the weather in Texas... stay a couple days, and itll change... 85 degrees on Wed... Got down to 31 today out on my shooting land... wind chill was well below that.

been getting a lot of snow here in east texas as well, all day long. This has been the heaviest snow Ive ever seen in east texas, and in april of all months! It hasnt even snowed here at all in about 6 years, and even then it was more like sleet. screw you gore, it's been in the 80s and 90s every day for months now....

Ok. I am going to gloat because here in AZ it is about 85 degrees, no wind and bright blue sky. It is wonderful. Almost warm enough to go swimming!:woohoo-1: The only snow we see here in Phoenix is on the travel channel, but it did get down to freezing one night earlier in the year.:neener:

I also know that I am going to catch hell from you guys when it turns 120+ degrees here in the summer.:lolgreen:

As a minnesota guy...bwhahahaha:roflmao: ....sorry...I road my motorcycle to my buddies machine shop yesterday, it was 23 degrees when I left the house. It's supposed to be 45-50 degrees here in april...not 23!! I think I need to go find El Nino and smack him around a bit! Who's with me?!

In Anchorage, Alaska it's clear, warm, and thawing. Too bad about Texas! :icon_razz:

Tanker, you weren't kidding about the snow. My buddy's wife emailed me a photo of their kids playing in the snow out there. Here in Mississippi, that much snow would have shut everything down for at least a week.

Hey, I know what snow is, hell I lived in Alaska, Maryland and Kansas :) It just doesn't do that here. It would be like you guys up north have 95 days in a row over 100°.......it doesn't happen and if it did it would be a big deal.

How bout that. watch fer the prowlin' yetis in that white stuf....they getcha!

Went form 80 degs week b4 (new hi record for us in IN), down to 19degs (new lo record here) and such end of last week part of this week.

Crazy.

I don't wanna seak on global waming or cooling too much here, but to say that ppl FX this as much as Gore thinks we do is sheer Hubris. Mt's St' Helens affected globl climate more than the industrial revolution.

Hey, ppl used to think the earth was the center of the universe, then the solar system, etc. PPl place waay too much importance on themselves in general...we're a lite fuzz of animated dirt on a medium planet moving around a medium star, in an unremarkable radial arm galaxy in a BIIIG fookin space filled with more nothing than something...
...that means Gore's 'opinion' ain't worth flea shite.
