I'm sure some outfit somewere made illumination and smoke rifle grenades, why aren't they on the surplus wagon to my door? Whats the point in having a rifle that can fire RG's without any RG's around!:g3:

you could always buy training/dummy grenades, when you can find them

Numrich usually has them
and they have to be demilled before they sell them so unless they are training dummies they are dewats (rarer):doc:

dummy/inert rifle grenades are available from numrich for $15.00 a piece
they are israeli
you will need the correct cartridget to launch them - when you get to that point, pm me, i have the correct grenade launching cartridges for a .308/762 nato firearm
they are a hoot to shoot - you can easily get 300 meters out of one, and its reusable

-->Will it work to shoot the Israeli 762NATO blanks that are on the market currently? Or is there some special thang?

I think sportsman's guide has the ones that hold a hand grenade in sort of a metal claw.

there are different kinds of blanks (training, parade, grenade), and the grenade ones are the strongest loaded. I think the other types will work, but they are less powerful and will not launch the grenade as far

I think I'll have to order up 3 or 4 and paint them orange. Should be great fun after the brother in law cuts the spring hay.
