Are Cetme & HK G3 barrel threads the same? I really like the looks of this.

Yup, same threads, and same muzzle devices.

I have one on my FAL... and I must say, those things cut recoil down like nothing i've seen. Makes it feel like an AR

BUT

my ears would bleed if i ever had to shoot w/o hearing protection

Whatever you do, DO NOT install that thing (or any comp/brake for that matter) on any weapon you might use for home defense. One shot with that thing in your home hallway and you will suffer serious hearing damage!

My M1 carbine and CZ75 are the main home defense weapons here. I like the looks, but the Cetme is pretty soft shooting as is. Good advice though.

Yea,it looks like some device they jammed up ya at Abu Garib to extract information! Seriously though,I bet it would snag everything within 10 feet of the muzzle when on the move....

I shot my FN FAL para with one of those DNTC brakes on outdoors, one shot, I hit, gave me good control, but my ears felt like they were going to bleed, degenerate and turn into dust.

Didn't ever want to shoot that w/o ear protection after that, can't even imagine how an indoor shot would sound like

I have that comp and here is the link to the manufacturer http://www.primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=14 check out the g3 video link near the bottom of the page to see an embedded video of the comp on a g3 full auto.

Wow! That brake enables pretty good control. If the Army had a brake like that, they would never have fazed out the M14. (Well....maybe)
