and mobile real estate. Our church had a turkey shoot today for the teenagers, boys and girls. I supplied six of the rifles, four with scopes. Some of the boys brought their own. We let the girls use the scoped rifles. There were 8 girls who shot, and only one had shot before. They learned pump action, lever action and bolt action with, of course the semi-autos. Half the boys had never shot anything but semi's, so they learned something too. The winds were gusting to 40mph, and the dust finally jammed the bolt action, my Norinco pump action kept shooting the magazine rod out and I guess my titanium FP in the 10/22 doesn't like Federal - or I found all the duds. Skeet shooting was also done. The amount of dirt on us when done will surely increase our tax value. My guns have never been so dirty on the outside, cleaning will take longer. 1st thru 4th place prizes were awarded to both the boys and girls. And I tell you, those girls listened to the advice and outshot some of the boys quite handily. It was a good meet.

Good deal. Sounds like a fun time. I like the fact that you helped kids that may not have other wise gotten a chance to experience shooting. May come in handy some day.

What a great idea for the kids! Think I might see if my church would go for that.
