While not really AK, it appears to be an arroused AK mag adapted for an SKS! It would weigh as much as the weapon empty!

From what I have read they are jam o matics, as you are asking alot for a spring to push that. 40's are the longest ak mags other than drums. That said I did see a sks drum out there this weekend at a gunshow here in town.
Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)
Funny i thought Ebay didn't allow this stuff anymore.
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself!
They don't. The guy is just lucky he hasn't been caught. E@bay/Pay%pal suspended my account because of a non-auction, private party transfer where I sold some high-caps to someone. Funny thing is, they had all the details and description of mags. They are probably monitoring these boards now, because that is where I sold them, and that is the only way they could have known the details![]()
If the mag jambed, though, it would make a heck of a club!
A friend has one of the huge ones for an ak, it feels flimsey as heck, and tosses the balance of the weapon way off. I guess many want it for the mean look, but heck I have a junk 30 round HK-91 style one, and it is a jam-o-matic and its stright.
I really want a drum, guess I will toss the money after one to go on the aes-10 someday.
That said I think if you wanted to cool, the drum for the sks would be sweet for sure.
As for clubs, I would think you might get a hi point, that way when you toss it it would have a boomrang effect.

I don't even like 40s for the AK. I had some when I had an RPK (AES10B), but it had a bipod on the front. In fact, in my converted 7.62x39 Siaga (Pics soon) I use a 15 rounder I made from trimming the follower on my 10 round factory saiga (It had a 30 round follower). It is nice and handy for a house gun. I do keep a loaded 30 on the shelf next to it, though
.
You fellows are missing the point. It's a mag/monopod. For stability, so you can hold sight picture while your mag jams. Those things are crap. I tried a 30 rounder once and it didn't work worth a shizzle.
Now if Tapco made one, I'd think about it... Nah.. those things are fugly.
