    Sherluk Marketing Ar-15 Kit

I just got off of the phone with them, I know they are busy, so I try not to bug people, but they say another two weeks before I get my parts kit (that's what she said last week).

It has been over a month now. When I placed the order I called he told me that they had everything in stock, come to find out they have everything in stock but are running 8-10 weeks behind on getting the orders out, I just wish he would have been up front with me from the begining.

The jury is out on this right now, I'll let you know what happens..

I had really good luck w/ model1sales.com recently. They said "Two weeks". Two weeks later it was on my doorstep. YMMV.

I had nothing but problems with sherluk. I bought an upper from them, had to return it because the gas hole in the barrell did not line up with the gas block making it a single shot. after 3 months of hearing it is done and shipping out tomorow every two weeks, i finaly recieved it back. It was only put together hand tight!!! I had to take it apart, clean it up,(it was filthy inside and out) and rebuild it at home. poor quality build with good quality parts.

I've honestly heard nothing but bad about that outfit... one of those that I won't touch. Kinda like Hesse or whatever they are going by nowadays.

I got it tonight, they got my order around Feb 24, today is 13 APR, so almost two months, the kit has some small things wrong with it, but it went together very good. The parts all look mil-spec, the trigger has a very good, crisp pull.

The stock and Pg have some small blems, they might be seconds, but nothing more then would be there after the first trip to the range.

I will let you guys know how it shoots.....

I've never heard of them B4 but looks like they might be worth staying away from.

tell us how she shoots and if the upper was put together properly.

I have heard several complaints about their uppers but I have had two of them, one with no problems what so ever and one had the front sight canted. This is not uncommon so I fixed it the right way, a good solid whack with a rubber mallet and it was right on target. They are in the Cleveland, Ohio area and set up at a funshow that I go to.

I've got some AR armorers tools from them a few years ago and might pick up one of their upper kits, at the next show I see them at in Columbus. $500 sounds like a good deal with what I'm looking at but it will be one of those things I go over everything BEFORE I leave the show to make sure it is what its supposed to be. I think I'll go with them since Mod 1 sales seems to be 6 months behind.
