    harbor freight buys

i buy a lot of stuff at harbor freight. yea! i know about the quality of there stuff, but usually i loose it or loan it out before i break it or wear it out any way.

if you break something just take it back and they will replace it. never had any hassel with them over it.

i went there to get some replacement lights for my trailer, they were out of the ones on sale like i wanted, so i got to looking around and got some other stuff.

i got a light weight air compressor to run my small tools in the shop. i have a bigger one in my other shop for my nail guns and stuff. i figured on sale for $48.95 it was worth it.
i got a punch set for sheet metal for $19.00. (i drill a lot of small holes and break a lot of drill bits) it has a life time warranty, guy said if it breaks bring it back we will give you a new one.
i got a body panel air saw cutter fo $12.00. it will make cuts on what i need done and it is very small.
brass pads for $1.00, i use them to get surface rust off guns, parts, etc. doesn't mess up the metal. i was paying $.50 to $ .75 each for them.

i got a lot of other stuff and my wife got a bunch of stuff, it is like a candy store for me.
i get to go back and get my trailer lights next week, YES!. more stuff.

I have close to 250,000 Snap On tools from the last 40 years of collecting and found Harbor Freight to have good warranty and very convenient since it's by my house. They have many useful tools!

i got a catalog from NORTHERN TOOL & EQUIPMENT on monday ( not sure why unless they share information), i have not looked at it yet. while i was in houston we went by one of the NORTHERN TOOL & EQUIPMENT stores. i didn't have time to stop, but next week it is on my list.

    i like tool candy stores.

Yep, they get lots of my money. too. Not the best quality stuff,
but for as much as I use it it's just fine. If it weren't for their tools
my AK's would have never been built!

Just don't buy their drill bits. It's like drilling with a stick of butter ....

Hey, I have one of those punches. It works very good on a lot of things. I punched holes in pieces of inner tube to make the Israeli sling silencers.
It always looks darkest.....just before it goes totally black.

One of the best buys I got from them recently was on their Ceramic Knives.

These kitchen knives will hold an edge up to 10 times longer than a steel one, and they are SHARP!

I paid under $20 for the largest one, and these things go for over $80 just about everywhere else.

Some people are like a slinky...

Not really good for anything, but fun to push down the stairs.
