VIDEO-Cetme and HK G3 - In shop test fire

Used DAG german blanks and HK BFA to do in shop function testing on my CETME and HK G3 builds. Super pleased with function of both. Now, on to the range for final alignment of front triple frames, followed by parkerizing/finishing next week. CETME is built on a Century cast stainless receiver with a clipped and pinned lower. The HK is built on a flat from RTG with a clipped and pinned Navy Lower and a weld on HK Port buffer also from RTG. These have taken me 9 months to this point with the expert input and guidance from the guys here on this site,,, These would not have turned out this well without your input.....Thanks Guys!!!! Heres a link to the video.....

Port Buffer vs No port Buffer

This may or may not mean anything, but I noticed that the blanks fired from the CETME (on left) were fairly well mangled compared to those fired out of the HK with the port buffer....both get pretty well melted up front from the gasses. The real test will come with live ammo...

    The weld on port buffer...

Reflections of how much fun this was...
My next project is on the right....my stainless steel parkerizing tank.

Oh man, that made my day. It sounded like crashing glass at the end. I was waiting to here the old "reeeeouw" sound a cat makes when you stomp his tail or hit him with hot brass/molten plastic. Can't wait to see them all finished up. I agree with your earlier post, if these honey's function with the blank ammo, the should run like a top with the live ammo.
It always looks darkest.....just before it goes totally black.

The casings were bouncing off of a piece of pipe I had standing on the other side of the shop, hadn't noticed it sounded like breaking glass until you mentioned it. My favorite part was the smoke coming out of the vent holes on the HK handguard right at the end.
