Ive heard theyre pretty well made, Colt wanted to compete with GSG for the .22LR tacticool market. I doubt the lower could be used on a 5.56 upper, havnt held one. That would be sweet though.

A guy at work was talking about one of these the other day. He's not the shooting type so I was amazed when I researched what he got. He says no issues whatsoever and his wife really liked to shoot it.
It always looks darkest.....just before it goes totally black.

I have handled one, they are unique, Not sure if the lower could be used for another rifle or not. There is no buffer needed in this model, not sure if the blow back is like the cienter conversions or not.

I would want to get my hands on one before I thought of other things to do with them. The lowers do look real though, these are not cheap looking things for sure. they look really well built, and until you get close or look at the mag they look just like an ar, with the receiver having colt markings too.
Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)

    Found them online here...

    On Point Supply

I dunno, for less then that you could buy a dedicated 22lr upper for your already existing lower. Or you could buy a Conversion Kit.

Not made by Colt, but I guess Colt licensed their name. Unless they come down in price, I mark them as a pass.....
