G3 practice bolt in CETME ?????

I have installed my G3 PB in my CETME to shoot DAG-BLUE practice ammo. I have read that you cant switch the bolts from G3 to CETME, but it fits and funktions fine. I have not shot it yet , but since it does not have to lock up like the full power brass ammo. I think it will be fine, what do you think ??????

Those just turn the rifle into a blow back, right, no lock up with the trunion/rollers? IMHO the other question would be the variable of length of bolt assembly between the two?
Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)

I will have to check size of both bolts . The CETME has that long rod sticking out that goes into the cocking piece , and the G3 does not have that on its bolt.. Yes it turns it into a blow back.

Don't forget that you will need the larger HK recoil spring bushing so your Cetme bushing doesn't get stuck inside the HK carrier.

IT does not work . I went to the range today and it does not close up into the trun do to the cetme cocking piece being a bet longer I think. Its a long stupid story , and I feel like the biggest screw ball in the world now.

I didn't remember, but now that you mention it, I knew I had also discovered that the HK bolt carrier is too long to fit in the Cetme tube. I remembered the part about the bushing size, because a Cetme recoil spring guide bushing will pass through the HK bolt carrier. I know I had pretty much resolved myself to modifying an old Cetme bolt and carrier to work with the practice ammo.

I think it can you have to trim some off of the front of the tube.
