I am realizing the trumped up recession now here at my SCUBA Shop in Iowa. That and the road out front is being replaced! They are already 2 months past the finish date and well over budget! Go figure it!

Just to enforce the old laws on the NEW ARRIVALS!

    they are

showing right here. are they not?

If you are selling them here, this needs to go to the for sale section.

I'm not selling them here. Don't intend to post them here. The subject of the post was that I would miss them and that I blame the economy and I'm not alone in this. These are C&R so I will walk the shows here in Calif. high rollers with money because I never want to see them again. Not that I wouldn't want a member here to enjoy them but this hurts. If it's going to hurt I want to get paid for the pain and I would tend to give them away to board members and as much as I would like to do that I can't. Cash and carry form a srtranger is what I need for some fair rifles. After almost two years of being un-employed I need the money. 20 years at GMC gone in a puff of ill-wind is still a shock. I don't sell I buy. In 40 years I think I have only sold five or less rifles. I know there are other people going through the same thing and if we pretend it's not happening that's not showing the support I thouhgt this board had going on among the members. I though as I sorted through almos 100 rifles I would find some closure from the friends I have had the pleasure of meeting here.

I'm reminded of what my Top told me one night in Viet Nam after the loss of a good friend and I was in tears. "Son it's time to harden your heart and put this life behind you and grow up move on and do the job." And so it is now again time to move on and get the job done.

However I did think some members would enjoy a last look. Soo if you don't mind I will still post the photos but without any comment on my own feelings and personnel problems. Cheers and good luck to everyone in the year to come.

I believe top is Swedish? 6.5? And the other is a 8mm Hakim. Nice rifles. Sorry to hear about the troubles. Good luck.
