    ***SOLD***Wts, 1912/61 steyr chilean mauser, 7.62 nato

******SOLD******1912 / 61 Steyr Chilean Mauser, 7.62 NATO/ 308win, excellent condition! here's the history. They were originally barreled in 7mm Mauser. In the 60's, the Chilean govt. bought a bunch of surplus U.S. 1903A3 2-groove barrels. They were turned down to Mauser contour, threaded, and chambered for 7.62 NATO / 308win. Matching numbers except the bolt. The receiver is in the white (that's how they came). The crest is crisp and clear. The rest of the rifle is done in Dura-Coat parkerize gray. Bore is shiny, rifling is sharp, 1-10" twist. I installed a Brownells front sight blank so it has a 100yd zero. The stock and hand guard is in great condition except for one crack near the pistol grip that has been repaired. Other than that, just normal handling marks. $ 215.00 Shipping is 30.00 I will accept money order, personal or cashier's check, pay pal. I'll need a signed copy of your local FFL holder. I will only send the rifle to the address on the FFL. Email me w/ any questions.

If you reload, I have a great recipe for it!!!!

The only factory ammo I've shot through it was surplus type, (Federal white box, Winchester white box, Belgium, S.A.) and they would stay inside the black in an SR-1 target w/ a 6:00 hold. Now with my reloads (LC brass, Win LR primer, 41.0 gr Varget & Sierra 165 BTHP) I could hold the 10 ring on an SR target. I'm sure with a scope I could have drawn them in tighter. I used for military shoots held at the club. I want to build an M4 so I'm raising funds...

Oh yea, the mag is longer than a regular .308 so I was able to seat the bullet out closer to the rifling
