homemade 9mm bullpup carbine

thought ide post her up here. love it or hate it, it is what it is. all told i have less than $100 in it from spare parts, (minus the optics of course). after ironing out a few glitches and firing pin designs, it runs like a raped ape. ill be building another in .45acp and in 7x62x25 just because. it has an overall lebgth of 26.25" with a 16.25" barrel. the first picture is of my initial layout of the parts that went into it.

didnt put it in the "bubba" section because, well, i dont like to think of myself as a "bubba gunsmith".

i broke the first firing pin after about 70 rounds, but it was due to a poor heat treat (i quenched too fast i believe). i made a better firing pin, and have had no problems with it at all minus a few feed issues from bad mags (infamous with the sten mags). it has a very short receiver so the cycling is very fast. your rate of fire is only limited by your ability to squeeze the trigger.

no airsoft here. a sten bolt and barrel, fal recoil spring, steel stock, and hk sl8 furniture, all modified of course.
