    trigger problems

I just pet my ar together (pictures to follow) and I have a problem. The bolt as it rides over the hammer pushes the hammer down to where it gets stuck on the tip of the disconnector. I have looked and i cant find any way that I have put it together wrong. Any thoughts fellas?

    parts trouble!

the disconnecter back side is too thick at part of the to trigger app.015 -what lpk are you using ? the cheaper kits have a one side round vs. the other flat angled -better grade are all 90* of each other ....get a better one !

both of the dpms lpk's i got had to have the disc ground down to function properly.

+1 to better parts. dpms crap is sub-standard, but id rather fit a fcg and save teh $$ if your not confident doing it yourself, go with a better lpk like the rock river. ive done 3 with rr lpk's and not a problem.

It is a timberwolf tactical parts kit. I believe you guys are right and the hammer or the disconnector are out of spec. A little grinding on the disconnector solved the problem. A RRa lower parts kit will be on its way in the near future. The rifle I built on a LRB lower and a YHM upper with a YHM free float railed hand gaurd and a UTG colapsible stock( I prefer the Bushmaster). I can't wait to get it to the range. Thanks for your help guys!

Looks like a good stock. I looked a bushmaster stocks and magpull. Not really sure what I will end up with. The utg stock I have is for economic reasons, lol. I can't wait to get out and shoot her. I just moved to Illinois and finding a range is proving difficult
