    Got me too
We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

Since we are family friendly..no only no but "F" NO!And....I love you Blade but it ain't a dang cover! Swabby's and leathernecks wear a cover.

OK I quit reading not too deep in. NO, nobody but the cav should wear these hats! It's the same scenario that played out a few years back when they took the black berets from the Rangers and gave them to EVERYBODY. I would have had to turn in my notice(not re-up or retire) if I had been in. You know society has gotten to be the same way. You can't make the grade? We'll lower the standard so you can.............

HELL YES!! I have my Stetson in Iraq with me. Wore it on Thanksgiving and Christmas when all the leadership served chow to the Soldiers. But only Cav can wear it. If we roll Bradleys ever, I will attach it to my Kevlar and find a sabre.

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine, is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine...

Nothing better than a good old Stetson, but then it's April 2nd

On a side note, when I first went into the service all the other "kids" wanted to get Tatt's and the Shiny blue flight jackets similar to the Thunderbirds.
I got a Stetson and a Harmonica while I was in Texas, I married my ex wife in that hat .... somebody stole both out of my car while it was parked at work at WAFB AZ..
But, my son that was recently injured went to Texas for his injuries he told my wife he got me a Stetson.
Now I just need another Lee Oscar maybe in B flat.

I just found the old OD patrol caps in Shotgun news. They are complete with cat's eyes. Now I need to see if my older sons still have one of my name tapes and a sew on wings. My old HAT got chewed up by a puppy about a year after I got out.
Anybody remember the correct way to sew them on? I do, it's a test.
BTW, I got that this thread was a joke...........a few minutes after I wrote my rant. But since it still applied, I left it. More because a "cover" is what I do to seeds in a garden, or dog poop in the yard or what I'm looking for when I make the wife mad. Just ribbing you Jarheads!
