    Cetme maximum bullet weight

    I have a box of Sellier & Bellot 308 Win 181 gr soft point cartridges and wonder if they are OK to fire from a Cetme ?

    That is really pushing it. 168gr. have been used by some with success but 181gr is nearly 30% over the weight the rifling was designed for. I don't know how hard it will be on the mechanics and accuracy will surely suffer.

    Yeah I have to agree . I don't think it's worth the risk to shoot 20 rounds of this stuff even if I did get it for free.

    Yes,little too heavy.Those would be better suited for an `06 if you got one.Just MHO.
