    What do your neighbors think about you displaying guns on your front porch?

    ...just another tricky day for you

    Hopefully you will have a better experience with your Hesse than the vast majority.

    Hesse made a worse cetme than CIA. The only G3 stuff on it is the sights, and all the internals will be cetme.

    A few guys like their Hesse rifles, but the overwhelming majority of people will tell you that Hesse is a few steps below CAI.

    Wonder why the barrel pin hole is there?

    Did Hesse cut them out or leave them covered over like CAI? It's nice to have it exposed either way. Range Report forthcoming I hope .

    When century made the rifles, they didnt take the barrels out of the trunions, they just placed the trunion, barrel and all then spot welded them to the receivers. Thus there is a chance your rifle was pressed and the bolt gap was set, then pinned, with everything as the design was orginally supposed to be built.
    Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)

    Micron = micrometer = 0.001 millimeter

    400 microns = 0.4 mm approx 0.0157 inches

    I guess we answered twice

    400 microns (.400 of a millimeter) is metric that is the way the guns are originally built. to convert to inch system mutiply by .03937

    .400 x .03937 = 0.015748 of an inch
