    New member posting issue?

A weaponsguild member PM'd me today and said he signed up here but was unable to post. Not sure what name he used here but on WG he's DEF23. I have problems on my home computer but can still post if I double click the reply button (vs. single click). Anyone else having issues?

Was he approved when he tried to post?
Found him. He is a registered user, and has forum permissions that go with that. Did he try to post to the For Sale section? He does not have permission for that till he gets to the next user level.

I used to have to double click the reply button as well but no longer need to.

Not sure. I sent him a link to the "for sale" section rules and he told me he was trying to start on his post count but wasn't able to post. I'll send him a PM and try to get more details. Maybe it's as simple as cleaning out a cache or tossing cookies.

Im a PM or email away holes, just ask to to let me know where he was trying to post and we can get him sorted out.

Yeah, I just wondered if it wasn an isolated case or if others had heard of problems. Obviously someone just joining the forum wouldn't be able to make their problem known here if they couldn't post. I ran into that on a board a couple of years ago where I could type a reply and it would never show up in the thread and evidently my emails to the site owner/mods didn't go through either. I can't remember if it got resolved or if I moved on. At least this way if someone is in this situation they can see that they aren't alone and there are other ways to resolve it before giving up.

I've tried to reply to a post and send a pm and neither went through. In fact this reply I'm writing prolly won't go through! Hahaha, Tigafila!

Hey, I see it worked! I was trying to reply to someone in the for sale section with my post that didn't go through, I knew I couldn't post a new thread in that section but I didn't know it was the same for replies as well. Tigafila
