H-buffer in a semi 16" carbine - needed or not??

Subject line says it all; have a semi-auto only 16" CAR that runs just fine.

Is there some big benefit to swapping the standard carbine buffer for an H buffer?

    thanks!

I have one in mine and it works well. I think the only benefit is that is removes some of the "bolt bounce" in F/A mode. I only have an S/A, but bought one anyways in case I had any malfunctions. It was a first build, and cheap insurance. I hate buying twice.

an h buffer and an m16 carrier help smooth out the recoil and bounce. you can really tell a difference between this setup and an ar15 carrier and a regular buffer.
