    Zumwalt - U.S. Navy's new ship

Pretty cool ship, but definately not cheap!

The stealthy, guided-missile Zumwalt that's taking shape at Bath Iron Works is the biggest destroyer ever built for the U.S. Navy.

The low-to-the-water warship will feature a wave-piercing hull, composite deckhouse, electric drive propulsion, advanced sonar, missiles, and powerful
guns that fire rocket-propelled warheads as far as 100 miles. It's also longer and heavier than existing destroyers -- but will have half the crew because
    of automated systems.

Looks a lot like an iron clad from the civil war. Who knew that alien technology was available during the civil war. LOL!

We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

Give the Chinese a few years and they'll be building them. IIRC the blueprints and fire control software were "appropriated" about ten years ago.
