recently held a slidefire stock for the AK47 for the first time

i understand that it lets you experiance the thrill of full auto for a very small investment, but i was taken aback at how cheaply made the thing is. Happy for those able to enjoy full auto like performance, but man for the price they charge for the things you would think you would get something a little nicer in quality.

yours looks like it has a buttpad on it? The one i seen was just a simple plastic plate with 2 screws on it, is that a special option? I would think it would make it more enjoyable

I dont think I would mind too terribly getting my hands on one... OOH... And I wonder if it would work on the Saiga 308... THAT would be awesome! Maybe I should get my hands on two or three of them...

Im sure someone will come up with a better made setup...even if its home made.
Once you see how it works...it shouldnt be that hard.

I have had two for the ARs for some time now. I was a little taken back when I got them thinking, is this all I get for the money? After I used it I had no complaints. They are a "hoot" to use.
Somebody came up with a pretty good idea and I guess I was paying for the idea, as much as the piece of plastic. I really need to get a AK version. What is the cheapest anyone is seeing
them for now? Automick, your setup looks pretty neat.

I'm all for that actually - just taken aback by how cheaply made it was.

flip flop shower sandal for the buttpad - bet it works great!! The sidefire stock i saw was going on a Saiga 12, and im certain that he is going to wish he had the flip flop pad too!! Takes a manly man to shoot the S12 in semi auto much less full

Looks awesome man, keep us posted on the progress!

I don't mean to steal your thread. The slide fire will fit any ak aside from any kind of folders. I was looking at one for an RPK, though I would need to find a place to shoot an RPK in "full auto."

    nearly done

After a good bit of mangling....its starting to look like it may actualy run.!
I still have to drill for the small pins.
And the AMD flash enhancer should add to the fun.
