Japanese Type 99 Kokura, early Series 20 short rifle w/4 digit s/n.

Japanese Type 99 short rifle with cavalry rear sling swivel. Made at Kokura arsenal, the 20th Series is the first batch of 7.7mm short rifles made at this arsenal. Before this, Kokura was making the Type 38 rifle. Ground mum, has anti-aircraft wings on rear sight. Missing screw in upper band. Has the tall front sight guard, no monopod. Bolt serial number does not match, but is correct type with chrome bolt face. Bore is bright, chrome-lined. Stock is solid with no cracks. Early in series with 4 digit serial number. NO import marks. No pitting. VERY GOOD condition! Unfired by me since purchase in 2007!

$350 plus shipping to your 01 or 03 FFL. Some ammo available for extra $.

Hate to sell, but I have a mortgage to pay. Listed on other forums as well.
