I went and watched the original again, I liked it better now than the first time around - I never liked them killing off the leads when I was a kid, doesn't bother me now. Old and cynical I guess

Dont know the storyline behind the new one, but watched the old one plenty of times. I can see how they could get large number of troops and munitions on US territory really quick (Major Highways from mexico, Shipping container shps from china, Major Airports in Mexico). Initially under the guise of UN "Peacekeepers", but that would also mean that the door was initially opened for them to come in. That would have to be some major meltdowns in the States while our Troops were away. Not portraying China as the major aggressor would be innacurate, but as stated China aint gunna let themselves get portrayed that way if they have their hand in the control of production. Coalition of UN forces comprising of Russia, China, other countries that really dont give a crap about us.... Would be more accurate, but a lot of REALLY insane stuff would have to happen long before they could even attempt that. (Our military forces would have to be non existant, because martial law would come long before any UN troops would touch our land in numbers). Genocide would be the only way they would take the fight out of our country.

Just my 2 cents worth, dang maybe I should write a movie script...
