Careful, you may get them suspended. Agree--if it's from a tv show the authorities might let them off with a warning. LOL

Yeah you never know these days with the people we have administrating public schools...Suspended my boy from 8th grade for having a red USMC cap with EGA on it and USMC on the bill. (No he wasn't wearing it in the school, he had it carabinered to his back pack.) Confiscated the hat, called me and told me to come pick him up from school, and "explained" to me the "procedure" I would have to follow for him to get the hat back at the end of the school year. Said it was "Gang related attire". So if they can stretch that one that far, I'd be interested to see what they could do with S of A shirt.

Yeah, well, the Marines won that day. I won't bore anybody with the details, but it was pretty stupid.

I do believe if it had been my son who was told his USMC hat was "gang related attire," some administrators would have been receiving a history lesson, and perhaps a law lesson. I bet I could recruit more than a couple of Marines to help me teach it.

What the hell is WRONG with these people???

They got a history lesson, a math lesson, a biology lesson, and a little social studies and home economics thrown in. He returned to school the next morning, wearing the hat and a 1/4 unit t-shirt with the motto "Whatever it Takes" and I didn't even think about the irony in that till a few months later. I was just trying to dress him up in the best garb I had in my drawer.
