Rear Peep: Tech-Sights or TX Weapons Sys

Finally got paperwork back to SBR a Draco. One open topic for me is getting a peep sight on it.

The TX Weapons Sys looks cool but is it REALLY stable? Especially if I want to put glass on it later? Down side is the rear peep they sell doesn't seem to have any elevation or windage adjustment

The tech-sights advantage, as I see it, is the elevation and windage adjustment BUT I hear it is a real hassle to get the dustcover off for routine cleaning. I can't find it any more but I one saw a pic of a kind of quick release someone came up with by installing removable pins attached to each other with a little cable wrapped around the rear.

    Pros? Cons? In either camp?

I run the Tech Sight on my Yugo underfolder and I like it, getting the dust cover off is no big deal. That being said If I had the option to do this today instead of 5 years ago I would go with the Texasweapons system because you can mt. an optic with it.

Ok, so which is better the TWS, or the Parrabellum?

I like the sight built into the mount.

I was going to mention what WildBill said too. The AK Adaptive Rail System by Parabellum looks pretty sweet and the reviews from the SHOT show were good.

And more pictures on Aim's site.

In those moments where you're not quite sure if the undead are really dead, dead, don't get all stingy with your bullets.

I have read several reviews on both and some say the Parrabellum has problems holding zero. The TWS was out first with there unit. I still think the Soviet side rail Mt. is the best. If one just wants a Peep Sight go with the Krebs unit.

I have one like that I will sell you, it works fine, but it does not sit as low as the other two, that is the only reason I was thinking of changing it.

Some good informative video info I gleaned from some other forums. I think I'm gonna go with the Texas Weapons Sys with some kind of low profile windage adjustable metal peep sight (if it exists).
