    Blasting media

Getting ready to building some more ak's, a friend of mine that has a blasting cabinet and he has offered to blast them for me if I supply the media I was thinking of using Aluminum Oxide and Harbor Freight carries two types 70 and 120 grit, not sure which one is the best for this application, any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

120 at about 90 psi will give you a surface/finish closer to most original AKM's than 70 will. 70 if you want a duller coarser finish or if you have minor wear scratches or polished out tool marks to cover up.
