I'm in dire need of a Valmet Ejection Port Buffer.
If anyone has an extra one tucked away which they are willing to part with, I'd gladly pay you for it.
These things seem harder to come by than hen's teeth.
Thanks in advance,
~Gary

Never mind. I located a gentleman in Virginia that was willing to sell me a 'new condition' Valmet buffer.

more important - where is the fin porn? (oops - I forget there are a lot of sensitive people here, sorry for those offended by that - where are the glamour shots?)

I appreciate the sentiment, regarding posting photos of the finished firearm.
Alas. . . this Valmet ejection port buffer is not going to be mounted to a Valmet rifle. It's going on my Galil AR rifle (pictured below), once I get it back from Jeff Miller of Hillbilly Firearms. Just yesterday I shipped the rifle to Jeff to have a few additional things done to it (Jeff built the Galil AR for me in the first place). He is going to replace the Green Mountain chrome lined barrel for a Douglass stainless steel barrel that I ordered a few months ago and which was recently shipped to Jeff. The SS barrel will be a few inches longer than OEM configuration, and Jeff will be contouring the barrel somewhat heavier. . . to increase the rifle's accuracy. He will also be cutting a .223 Wylde chamber so that I can appropriately shoot both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem out of it, and also ramping the barrel's breech to preclude the cartridges' bullet tips from sustaining impact during semi-auto loading.
Anyway, my "end-game" is to have this Galil AR in "scout" configuration with a picatinny railed gas tube, and Burris 3-12x32 Handgun Scope mounted low on the gas tube. I will be replacing the OEM receiver top cover (that has the welded on rear sight assembly) with a Bulgarian AK-47 smooth top cover. . . and that is where this Valmet ejection port buffer comes into play. As most of you know, the Galil really dings and dents the crap out of spent casing upon ejection. The Valmet port buffer will allow me to save my brass for reloading.
