    Roller Madness

I'm building my CETME and it occurs to me that since I'm both pressing a new barrel and using a new bolt head, I should also go with new standard size rollers. Wouldn't that give me the most flexibility in the future for adjusting bolt gap as the rifle wears....???

You could even go with a minus size, but in reality starting with the standard size is the best route. You won't wear it out in your lifetime, unless the next Civil War comes...

We took a poll and the South has decided that it will start on a Wednesday. That should leave us just enough time between then and Friday to kick the north's rear and still be able to make our fishing trips on Saturday and thank the lord for our victory on Sunday.

Unfortunately the invasion/civil war has started from the South, and is well under way.

Just not many people want to acknowledge it for what it is..

You got that right TL. I just wonder if the Asians will try their take over before the Mexicans. They've both been at it a while. Just one buying large corporations and the other just moving in.

back to topic for the OP...

If you can get some minus 2's or minus 4's and start with that, it would last even longer than standard ones... though its a little up in the air if the minus sized rollers are truly intended for G3/Cetme use. Just set the BG right around .020", or a couple thousandths over as the gap will usually "settle" a little bit in initial break-in.
