    Ordered my first PTR-91 Monday.

Can't wait! Been planning to do this for about 2 years now. It's a PTR-91 KF. Should get it early next week, I hope.

Get ready for lot's of questions.

Looks it's like it will be here on Tuesday. My wood stock and forearm will be here on Monday. Getting excited now. Lol.

Looks like a long wait for something you have been wanting, which always makes it more sweet when you get it in hand. Congrats on the buy. Post some pictures
and an update when you get it. Happy shooting to you!

Thanks. I will for sure post up some pics when I get it. Date changed to Wednesday now. I can't pick it up until that day anyways.

My wood stock and forearm came in Saturday though. Kind of rough, but solid. It will be fun re-finishing it.

Now I just need to get one of those awesome JDowney wood grips to go along with it.

Most Excellent! My PTR has become my "go too" rifle. I am sure you will love yours too. I couldn't resist buying surplus German Flecktarn camo to go with it. (affordable high quality stuff) Sort of freaked out a local late one night while coyote hunting - We were standing on this crossroad (a field road actually) when this truck came along. When his headlights flashed on us he jammed on the brakes than very cautiously creeped forward. Once he drew-up to us and could get a good look he floored it and took off in a cloud of dust and flying gravel - seemed like he couldn't get out of there fast enough! But then again coming across two dudes dressed in German field gear with the German insignias on one shoulder and the American flag on the other - one holding an FN/FAL and the other a H&K clone I could understand his concern. We expected the local border patrol to show up!

Oh yeah, this is as good as Christmas gets. It's on the truck, oh boy oh boy. Here we go, Won't be long now. Sorry, I got a little carried away for you.
