    Added me an Enfield

Well I was sayin the other day how've I a soft spot for a Enfield & needed to start collecting them again. Well now I am officially a non Ar owner. Traded off my A2 clone for the top one in the picture. 1943 No4 Mk1* Longbranch with a absolutely pristine two groove barrel. Never had either a Canadian Enfield or a 2 groove barrel rifle before. So I am eager to get out and test it out. Still got a small supply of some 1953 Radway Green ammo & some old reloads of mine.

Pictured with my 1966 Isaphore 2a1 & some accessories. Love some old school sword type bayonets. I'll get better pictures during the day.

Congrats, an interesting, kind of neat in a ugly way, rifle. I am allowed to say that as I also have one (LOL). If you like Enfields, or any C&Rs) a nice
    addition to any collection.

The first rifle I ever bought, was a No4 Mk1 Enfield. Few days after I turned 18. Miss that old thing. Simply love the smooth action of a Enfield. One of the next things on my "bucket" list is a P14 a Enfield.

    Show off.

Ya know I'm not that far away. I could inspect those for ya. For um, safe operating condition.

Those are really nice! I don't have one in my collection, yet. Been meaning to though.

Scottz, there's a guy in St Louis on armslist with a 2a1 enfield listed. Don't recall his asking price but it was reasonable.

Well, hundred yards in dusk type conditions using 70 year old ammo, I can at least hit a torso sized target part of the time. Needs more practice.

Amazing how accurate these old military rifles are with old surplus ammo. I was hitting the head of a torso size target at 50 yards every time with my Mosin and 70's era ammo last weekend.
