Find some classic Coke in bottles with metal caps on them. You have to use that bottle opener now and them, especially if young kids are around.

Done with the M1 Garands. Ran out of gun oil on my last one, but got it done. Knee still swelling up some so time for a break (LOL). BTW all of them have bayonets with them in hard cases.
That's a Winchester (03/42) leaning against the stack

Next update will be when something actually happens on shed, likely coming Monday when they setup wood stove.

Yep, it is called an investment, plus I like the old military guns. Garands are one of my favorites, but I have many others. I did not build this building with steel containers to store a couple of rifles and a shotgun,
if so I would have bought a gun safe (LOL). BTW I raised my youngest kids as a single parent, went through some rough times, hung in there through it all, don't really owe on anything and finally past few years having
a little fun for myself. Kids (who are now adults doing fine) don't care as they know they will likely inherit my collections (LOL)

Looking good Chief. Glad to hear your getting around better.

437 years from now, amateur archeologists exploring an area, called Arkansas on an ancient map, will unearth the remains of a concrete slab With three steel containers attached to it. Also on this slab will be a strange porcelain device of unknown use. After 32 days of work they will get one container open and discover hundreds of firearms. The second container will have ammunition. The third one stale pizza, empty beer cans and a stale body (with a smile on its face). After much experimentation, the ancestors of PeeWee Heman will figure out how to use the guns and take over the known world: DollyWorld!
