We have a small amount of wiring left to do and then plumbing lines. Also need to get racks build. Need to get anchor bolts in containers, but have what I need to do that. Also polyurethane
container floors. Both wood stove and furnace need stove pipes installed. Once all that is done I can clean construction mess up, marks off concrete floor and start moving stuff in. Knee surgery
coming up is likely to slow me up for a few weeks, but yes, it feels like the end is in sight. I am guessing maybe 2 months to move in. I have a lot of stuff to move (LOL).

Hoping things go well with the knee and all. It looks like it will be a great place soon. Take care and stay in touch.

That funny Ron (LOL). For now keeping it set at 77 and the A.C. does not seem to run a lot holding it there on these hot days. Double walls with insulation seems to be doing the job.
Anxious to move in, but got to finish it out first - can't work on containers, etc, if they/it are full of stuff. Need those gun racks (LOL). Knee surgery on Monday so I have something
to look forward too (LOL). It was the worse damn timing for me to blow out my knee with this project was going on

Good luck with your surgery. I hope you are feeling better very soon. I am probably nearly as excited about you finishing this project as you are. I really think this is one of the coolest things I could imagine. If I hit the lotto some day maybe I could do something this cool. It will be so nice to have you whole collection in one secure place with easy access. It is like the ultimate gun enthusiast cave.

Get the knees fixed. Then worry about the other stuff. It is not going anywhere.
This will just give you more time with a pad to work out all the fine details on it.
I would love to have all the guns and the parts in one location.
I know you have already done that, but look at it from a different direction and you may have some better ideas.

    Good luck on Monday.

Last few springs my oldest goes out to California to work and comes back for winter - while he is gone overflow ends up in his bedroom. If all goes well I will have it all
in new building and not have to deal with moving it again (LOL). Glad to get it all out of the house and where I can get to it.

Got home from surgery about 24 hrs ago and it has not been a fun 24hrs (LOL). Operation took twice as long as planned as surgeon found severe cartilage damage, in addition to
the tendon torn in two and fracture tibia. Told after surgery I could not put any weight/zero on leg at all for 30 day or so to keep his repairs intact, time to heal. Plans for
physical therapy were put on hold. Before surgery I was told I could use leg and would be limited only by pain in activity, so big change. I am not a happy camper, but it is what it is

In short, I am screwed doing anything on building myself for a while. Brother said he would try and come down latter this week and finish wiring (mostly) plugins left to do, put
in porch light and anchor containers down.

Well, that's no good. Nothing you can really do about it though.

Here's to you having a speedy recovery!
