    My latest acquisition

So my boy comes home last week on leave with this giant piece of luggage, he's like "I had to repack some stuff at the airport cause I was over weight" I said "why do you have such a big suitcase"? he says "I needed it for your present".

I'm like what in the world is it? we get home, and he gives me this:

After the last Gun-Ex on his boat, he ran up on the deck and got me one, he knew I had a small collection of cannon brass.

    His boat:

Nice present from your son. I am sure it was nice to spend some time with him too.

I'm sure it was great to see your son home for a few days, and he brings you a really neat gift. You couldn't ask for more. By the way, that's a nice "boat" he has there.

Yes it was awesome to have him home, and he came home for my Daughters wedding, and he's coming back for good(4 years) in three days. It was a really great visit.
I am truly blessed, he's been gone for three years. I don't use that clock anyway, I love it, but my wife can't stand the ticking or the gong every 30 min.

It's not really "his boat" , in fact it's not "ours" anymore it was just decommissioned and sold to....wait for it....Vietnam???

Thanks, it was a really good week. No Bridezilla breakdown, I thought for sure that was going to happen, my boy got ordained so he could do the ceremony. And best of all the uniform still fits(although a little tight) my wife bet me I couldn't get it on ...
