    Mak 90

I am looking at purchasing a MAK90. I have done some research on them and I'm waiting for some more info from the seller. Are there any of them that I should be wary of? From what I can tell so far it was imported by CJA in 93.... Norinco with a stamped receiver and the barrel is not threaded and all matching numbers. Price wise he is asking 900$

I bought a kit some years back and built it into one of my preferred AK's. Everything was great as far as fit and finish on factory work. Also it is quite accurate by AK standards.
The asking price seems on the high side to me, but I'm a little behind the times on current prices perhaps. With all the original goodies and the box I'd maybe do it. YMMV.

I still have mine. 1.5 mm thick steel is heavier than other pressed AK receivers. I put a different stock on it, but have kept the wood. I think $900 is high, but haven't checked prices in a long time. Very reliable and heavy duty.

i have him down to 800$. I checked a couple auction sites and most start out around 800$. I haven't seen one in my area in quite awhile. He sent more pics and it is very clean. I will most likely pick this one up. I found and add from the early 90's showing prices starting at 189$ for them. Thanks for the info, Everything said here mimics what the AK sights are saying as well.

AK prices are crazy high right now, decent AR's are much cheaper !!

Don't think you'll find one under 800 unless it's a beat up rifle. I don't think anyone thinks will ever see Chinese firearms here ever again seriously doubt that so they will only go up. There are some Penny auctions but they've all been going up near thousand or over maybe on the right day you can get in there and get one for 600 on the right day.

I picked it up for 800$. Very clean rifle, seller says he was the original purchaser and after doing some of his own research on what they were selling for he about didn't want to sell it. He is an AR guy so this one just sat in his safe. I would post pictures but I either forgot or neither the phone or the lap top wants to cooperate.
