Thinking of buying a Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine.

I shoot my M1 carbine a lot and soon my M1 paratrooper. I thought it would be cool to carry a pistol with me that uses the same caliber. I carry a sidearm with me at all times while at the range anyways.

Any one have one of these in .30 carbine?

Another option could be the Automag III. A friend had one years ago. Kinda heavy but a ball to shoot.
    Kinda spendy though.

I had one and enjoyed shooting it.
I didn't shoot it much and one of my bud's wanted it so I sold it to him.

Yeah, I saw those, expensive though. I can get the Ruger new for under $500 local.

Looks like it. I have been watching youtube videos on them. "Rifle" sounds from a pistol and a nice fireball!

Funny how most people think .30 Carbine is a wimpy cartridge, then you try and put it in a pistol and realize it is actually quite powerful.
    I love you guys...

I know you do, me as well.

I think it will be way fun shooting it out of a revolver! I can bring my M1, my paratrooper, and this Ruger to the range and only bring one caliber of ammo for three weapons. Fun!
