If the cases stick and it's too loud you could hand load cast bullets. HP38 works great for the plinkers I load for my carbine.

I have a 3 screw from 1969 and enjoy it. It can have a nice fireball. I have noticed about a 350+/- loss of velocity from what I get in my Carbine. Speer makes a JHP, Speer product 1835, that is a nice bullet. Killed many gophers with it when I was stationed at Minot AFB.
Cool. Killing gophers with one sounds like lots of fun. I bet it did a job on them.![]()

Just ordered one from GrabAGun! They made me buy it with the sale price they had on it today.
Also ordered a set of Altamont super rosewood grips for it. Don't like the black plastic ones that come on it.
