Thanks, just waiting on a receiver to be back in stock and one other mod to the existing parts. You need to get on those Brens! Lol

So, my UZI barrel and bolt group arrived in the city I live in yesterday. They are sitting in a UPS warehouse awaiting delivery to me on Monday. I'm working tonight and the UPS warehouse is directly across the street from me! Probably less than 100 feet from me are my eagerly awaited parts. It's killing me right now! LOL!

My barrel came in yesterday evening. Nice barrel. Installed it in the old trunion just to see how it looked and fit in the shroud.

Fits in the shroud nicely. Sticks out just a hair at the end, which is fine.

9mm round sticking out of the chamber a bit so it can seat in the bolt.

Thank you, it does look pretty good in there. Yes, it's going to be a heavy little sucker! I think it will be great for putting quick shots downrange on target.

Extractor holding a round nicely. Also can see the firing pin safety engaged.

I like your uzi scott. Should make for nice controlable package. Maybe a red dot? Always thought the middle size uzi were cool too.

Thank you! No scope on my UZI, iron sights only. Yup, the mini and micro UZI are both pretty cool.

So, found out recently that the McKay Uzi receivers use model B front and rear sights, thanks to info from sdk1968 and McKay themselves. The kit that I have has model A sights installed on it, The two types do not interchange. Off to find model B sights.

Thanks to uzitalk.com for the pics. http://www.uzitalk.com/reference/pages/ABdiff.htm

I have a complete set of model B rear sights coming in from IMI USA. Real ones, steel with the click adjustable windage. Still looking for a set of model B front sights. D&D Sales has them but I have not been able to reach them by phone yet to place an order. Going to try again in a few minutes. ")
