lot of different ways you can do that.

    weld the hole.

or put a perma swivel for a sling in the hole...(rivet)

some guys are now putting the wrist stabilizer on there....

you can even leave the fold up stock on the rear & weld it closed position like they do many other sub guns on the market. the key here is if you do this..... you had better not put it up to your shoulder!!

its all about the look YOU want.

heres a crappy pic of my pistol build with the short barrel. its folded up & then you weld it up inside in several places so that it cant be folded out.

That's nice! Good to know info, thanks.

Question, without the front sling swivel installed, is there any blowback coming out of the hole when you fire it? Just wondering if it does because that is awful close to your hand if holding onto the front handguard.

i didnt really notice anything when grinning like a possum shooting it... (usually wear gloves.)

BUT: Tony did tease me about that hole being there "needing something in it" so went back & riveted it in with my big bolt cutter rivet squeezers that i use on PSL's. & i redid the finish on it since this pic to give it a more even look..

lets get this back to YOUR build though! You will love it when you are done!

It's all good. This can be a general UZI thread for all containing info, how to, and links.

My model B front sight and detent spring will be here Friday. Still trying to find a detent though. I e-mailed IWI Israel about one but have not heard back yet.

Just received my front sight post and detent spring in from IWI. Still searching for the front sight detent, no luck anywhere.

Also got a new trigger spring and sear spring as well. They were cheap and it never hurts to have spares.

Latest parts in. Very nice condition surplus UZI sling, 20 round IWI mag, and a new sling stud.

Lol! I'm tryin. Waiting on the receiver. Being told about three more weeks. This weekend I will do the last mods to the trigger group and housing. I will post pics as I go on that. I am very anxious to get this done and shoot it. I have been bugging the receiver people every week.

Edit: I forgot to post the last mod I did for it. I'll post it a bit later. Just got back from a business trip.

Swivel mod. Been looking at the best way to attach my front sling swivel. Some people weld, some stake it, some people leave it out all together. I came up with my own way to suit my needs/wants. I drilled and tapped the swivel base for a small set screw as well as giving the stud a bit of a dimple for the set screw to hold securely in. This way I can easily take it off and on as I need to put the finish on and such.
